In 1989, our Safety Training and Evaluation Process (STEP) program was developed and written by contractors, for contractors. There is no charge for this service (unless applying for STEP Diamond or Platinum status). ABC STEP participants are 688% safer than the industry average and experience an 85% reduction in TRIR rates.

This is a program that provides an organized approach for analyzing and developing safety and loss prevention programs. ABC’s STEP program incorporates both OSHA required safety data with self-assessment requirements to give a full report on the entire nature of a company’s safety program.
